Movie Rental Review

Movie Rentals and Reviews

Online resource for your movie rental review.

This is a resource designed to help anyone looking for a movie rental review. That is to say - 'what do you want to watch this weekend?'. The sites here have been screened for their movie rental review quality, and represent best of breed in their area of expertise, depth, scope and usability.

http://www.mrqe.com This site lets you search on the movie you're interested in, and provides, in many cases, a long list of the movie reviews available for that movie by different publishers. This site brings together an extensive amount of movie reviews. Even obscure movie titles can have multiple reviews offered from different sources.

http://www.badmovies.org/movies/ You you are a fan B-movies, bad or campy movies, this is the site for you. Much information is readily available without annoying flash graphics. The trick is in finding some of these movies for rent since they are not main stream productions and are probably out of print.

Some of them sound so delightfully awful. There's a lot more than just movie rental reviews. TV Shows, Bad Movie News, lots of good stuff.

http://movies.go.com/reviews Plenty of movie reviews. Click on the movie of choice for a synopsis, and then goto the Reviews tab. From there, you can select the review for the movie from the publisher of your choice. These are more main stream and current or recently released movies. A scoring system is in place from the reviewers to rate the movie reviewed.

http://www.netflix.com Netflix - This is a terrific site for a movie rental review. The movie reviews are written by regular people just like you, rather than a stuffy professional movie reviewer who probably prefers films with subtitles. You can look up a movie you like and follow links to recommended movies of the same genre, and read each movie rental review. If you are as frustrated with Block Busters costly mistakes as I was, Netflix is a great way movie rental service too. In case you don't know how Netflix works, here's an overview. Netflix is a monthly subscription service for X number of DVD movies out at any time. You log on to the website, and fill your queue with the movies you want. Netflix then starts sending each movie in your queue, which you get to keep for as long as you want. Each movie Netflix sends you comes in a paper envelope, with a return, postage paid envelope for you to return. The next one in your queue will be the next movie Netflix sends to you, and so on.

http://www.amazon.com - Amazon can be a very good resource for movie rental reviews, although Amazon is not a movie rental service. Many of the movies offered for sale on Amazon are reviewed by customers, not a stuffy professional movie reviewer. You can read the reviews, and then make your rental at your usual place - or go ahead and buy the DVD from Amazon.
